MEDICATION TECHNICIAN (RESIDENT LIFE SPECIALIST)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Safely performs the technical aspects of medication administration
- Provide routine geriatric health care services to residents in an assigned area based on resident needs.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living.
- Provide engagement to residents in a way that honor their preferences and encourage residents to participate in Life Enrichment events.
- Taking and recording vital signs and other data regarding the resident’s physical and mental status.
- Participate in resident care planning
- Participate in peer reviews to monitor quality care issues. All other duties as assigned
Requirements : High School diploma or equivalent. Current listing as Nurse Aide on the NC Department of Facilities Services Nurse Aide Registry without substantiated findings; CPR Certification – Adult Module (American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
