Carol Widman's Candy Company is now hiring Sales and Packaging positions for our Christmas season!
We are a 5th generation candy store since 1885 and hand make our candy right on site. We create a fun, fast-paced workplace environment and are looking for upbeat individuals to add to our team. We offer flexible scheduling depending on applicants' availability!
Job Description: (we will train you!)
- Package candy in our attached candy kitchen
- Assist customers with cash/card transactions
- Keep the shelves and cases stocked with our candies and packages
- Answer customer questions about products and store information
- Take and fulfill orders over the counter and on the phone
- Retain knowledge about our candy descriptions and products we offer
- Assist in store closing and store cleaning duties
We are hiring for the afternoon shift, 12-7 PM, but can be somewhat flexible on the start time if needed (11-7, 2-7), and Saturday availability is strongly preferred, with some Saturdays being required. Our Christmas season goes until December 24, but there may be opportunities to extend employment after Christmas.
