Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced injection molding (plastic) process technician. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a high-volume injection molding setting. Specialized experience in mold validation (DOE, Hi/Lo, IQ/OQ/PQ, FMEA, and Process Monitoring) is required. Qualified candidates will have extensive interaction with project management teams, engineering departments, and senior management. Candidate must be physically able and skilled to configure, set-up, and process molds for machine tonnage ranging from 20T to 750T.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• The Injection Molder & processer is responsible for setting up and running molding machines.
• Enters mold parameters into the machine based on specifications as detailed on the set -up sheets.
• Extensive knowledge of plastics material including working with high temperature plastics materials.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve injection molding machine problems.
Preferred Experience/Skills/Knowledge

• Requires lifting to 45 lbs.

Education:
• High school
• Trade school diploma certificate manufacturing technology, machining industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Associate’s degree in manufacturing or related field preferred.
