Description of position
Prepares, packages, and labels Carnivore Snax. Assembles production line and ships out products to customers.
Daily tasks and responsibilities
- Prepares and cooks all cuts of meat using commercial dehydrators. Coats finished product in salt.
- Packages, seals, weighs and labels products. Stocks and rotates awaiting fulfillment area
- Follows Carnivore Snax formulas, diagrams, and SOP’s to see that consistency and quality standards are met. Complies with health code, such as sanitation, temperatures, and accurate date rotations. Upholds safety and security procedures.
- Assembles boxes for shipping and ingredients in prep areas.
- Fulfills orders using shipping software ShipStation
- Performs preventative maintenance for machinery, equipment, and implements. Cleans equipment by disassembling and spraying with cleaning and sanitizing agent and wiping base. Washes and sanitizes parts in proper sink.
- Cleans prep area by sweeping, mopping, spraying, wiping, and scrubbing. Empties drain screens, empty trash.
- Counts product on hand, figures out production needs and documents production on the daily form. Fills out time and temperature record forms. Records products to be salvaged, damaged, or destroyed for manager audit. Completes sanitation checklist after final cleanup.
- Assists in other areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Education/Training: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Food Safety Certification from FSIS. Will be assigned during the first week on the job.
- Experience: Candidates with fulfillment experience and/or have worked with raw meat will be given preference over other candidates.
