Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of carnival foods with attention to quality, presentation, and food safety standards.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Serve customers with a friendly attitude, upselling menu items to enhance their experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and equipment in accordance with health regulations.
• Assist with food handling tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and managing food inventory.
• Support team members in quick service environments by managing time effectively to meet customer demand during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred; experience in quick service or fast-food restaurants is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests of all ages.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Kitchen or culinary experience in a café or grocery store setting is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
