Responsibilities
- Greet visitors warmly, providing information about current exhibitions and gallery events to enhance their experience
- Assist with the installation and deinstallation of artwork, ensuring proper handling and display according to curatorial standards
- Support the setup of promotional materials, including signage, digital displays, and marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of gallery spaces, including lighting adjustments and layout arrangements to optimize visual impact
- Coordinate with staff on event preparations, including workshops, openings, and educational programs
- Manage digital content updates for the gallery’s website and social media platforms using instagram, facebook, and TikTok to promote exhibitions effectively
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in digital design, graphic design, or visual arts
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and familiarity with other design tools such as Figma or SketchUp
- Skills in photography, video production/editing (Adobe Premiere, After Effects), or 3D animation (Maya) are a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills with a passion for art and community engagement
- Prior experience in gallery operations or event coordination is advantageous but not required
