VDC Coordinator

Remote VDC Coordinator job open in Raleigh!

A growing engineering and construction group is looking for a VDC Coordinator to support modeling and coordination for mechanical piping, ductwork, and plumbing projects. This group provides engineering, fabrication, and construction support services for large Commercial and Industrial projects.

This is a remote position, but the candidate must live within the Greater Raleigh area.

Responsibilities:

• Build and coordinate 3D models for mechanical piping, ductwork, and plumbing systems
• Produce fabrication-ready deliverables such as spool drawings, hanger layouts, installation maps, and supplemental steel details
• Work with engineers, designers, and field teams to ensure accurate, constructible models
• Review and revise models to meet project standards
• Support coordination between VDC, fabrication, and field crews

Qualification:

• Associate’s degree in applied science and/or equivalent relevant experience in CAD Drafting, engineering, construction management, or a similar field is preferred.
• 5 years of experience in mechanical piping, ductwork or plumbing design, VDC/BIM, or fabrication drafting
• Strong skills in Revit and AutoCAD
• Comfortable reading P&IDs and mechanical drawings
