Summary of Position: Preventative Maintenance to multiple lines
Roller changes
Preventative Maintenance (Barring changes/Motor changes/brake changes on cranes/
Key Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on machinery/equipment and perform timely repairs
- Establish appropriate frequency and perform regular preventive maintenance activities on a limited amount of equipment in the facility
- Perform timely facility/building maintenance and minor repairs, and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Dismantle defective machines/equipment and install new or repaired equipment
- Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and repairs
- Coordinate and make recommendations on work-related contracts and services
- Supervise outside contractors when needed for mechanical and electrical repairs and maintenance
- Participate, support, and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements
- Complete all job duties in a manner that does not put him/herself or other individuals in an unsafe situation and wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) when required
- Assist in any duties to support the operations, as requested by supervisor or manager

Qualifications:
· Demonstrate mechanical and technical aptitude
· 1-3 years experience in an industrial, maintenance environment
· College degree or certificate in a technical area or related field
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
· Might require assistance from supervisor or lead
· Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges
· Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs
· Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems
· Basic computer knowledge to complete data entry
· Obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment such
as, forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, or cherry picker
Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour
