Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct original research in AI safety and autonomous robotics, including algorithm design, system development, and experimental validation.
- Author and contribute to research proposals, technical reports, and peer-reviewed publications.
- Present research progress to sponsors and stakeholders on a regular cadence.
- Maintain prompt and proactive communication with the PI.
- Develop project concepts and write proposals for research projects and independent grant applications.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students on research methods, code development, publishing papers, and scientific communication.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree
- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience with robot systems and algorithms design and development and experimental validations.
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
