What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate, Patron Program position at Carnegie Hall?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manages and facilitates the gift acknowledgment process for all Patrons and Notables gifts, including Trustee annual gifts, by preparing weekly reports, acknowledgment letters, emails, receipts, and other membership materials
Drafts and coordinates donor communications for senior staff and Director of Patron Programs
Prepares membership renewal solicitation letters
Assists with Patron recognition events by managing RSVPs, drafting invitations and confirmations, putting together print materials, and checking in guests on the night of the event
Communicates with patrons via phone and email to assist with membership questions or concerns
Manages donor research for current and prospective donors, preparing bios and briefings for the Patron team and senior staff, and tracking outdated or outstanding research
Prepares the outstanding pledge report for the Director of Patron Programs on a monthly basis and coordinates pledge follow up communications
Maintains accurate donor credits and updates in all listings, including the monthly concert program Playbill and website donor listing
Assists with Board of Trustees meetings and Galas as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with excellent interpersonal skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Able to work independently and manage multiple projects on tight deadline
Computer proficiency a must, with knowledge of Tessitura database software preferred but not required
