Staff Data Scientist
- Hybrid Arlington VA or remote (Boston/Bay Area/San Diego/Los Angeles)
Role Purpose
Turn large-scale sensor data into actionable insights and create feedback loops for edge AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze structured/unstructured field deployment data
• Build analytics pipelines and intelligence products
• Partner with product/customer teams
• Identify model failures, drift and edge cases
• Build monitoring, visualization and experimentation tools
• Support model retraining and dataset enrichment
• Ensure data quality and anomaly detection
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, CS
• 10 years applied data science experience
• Python, SQL, pandas, numpy, scikit-learn
• Strong statistics and anomaly detection experience
• Time-series, geospatial or multi-sensor data experience
• ML Ops familiarity
Ideal Profile
• Startup or agile defense-tech background
• Architectural ownership experience
• Government/regulated domain exposure
• PhD/publications preferred

$260K and equity
