Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time Piano Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong pedagogical skills, the ability to connect with students of all ages and abilities, and a commitment to balancing fun, engaging instruction with a solid foundation in piano fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Teach weekly private and/or small group piano lessons
- Work with a diverse group of students, ages 5 through adult
- Maintain a structured but flexible approach to instruction
- Communicate effectively with parents and students
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, or exams as needed
- Contribute positively to a collaborative, student-centered environment
Qualifications:
- High proficiency in piano performance and pedagogy
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to various learning styles and personalities
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Piano Performance, or related field (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience is a plus
Pay: $ $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 per week
