- Utilize knife skills and meat cutting techniques to prepare seafood items according to specifications.
Requirements
- Previous seafood retail and/or seafood culinary experience strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team; ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Ability to sell proactively.
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department and basic seafood cooking procedures.
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.
- Effective time management skills.
- Proficiency in knife skills and meat cutting techniques is essential for this role.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
