Job Summary
Carmine’s Gourmet Market & Restaurant is looking for a full-time/part-time Prepared Foods Clerk for their well-established, busy Gourmet Market located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Responsibilities include serving prepared meals and sides, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Performs all functions related to preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products.
- Support catering events and banquet setups by organizing food items, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring timely service.
- Handle food safety procedures by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in all work areas including kitchens, counters, and storage spaces to promote a safe environment.
- Engage with customers by providing excellent service, answering questions, and making recommendations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or related roles
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members across diverse settings.
- Ability to follow directions and procedures; effective time management and organization skills.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
