Bakery Manager

Overview
Carmine’s Gourmet Market & Restaurant is looking for a full-time Bakery Manager for their well-established Gourmet Market located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Responsibilities include ensuring that we deliver delicious baked goods and an exceptional customer experience.

Duties
As our Bakery Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily bakery operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Managing inventory control to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
• Training and developing staff in baking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
• Ensuring compliance with health regulations and food safety standards to create a safe working environment.
• Collaborating with the culinary team to innovate new recipes and improve existing offerings.
• Providing outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service management or bakery operations.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and development.
• Excellent communication abilities to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, culinary techniques, and safety regulations.
• Passion for baking, creativity in recipe development, and a commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with cake decorating techniques and pastry preparation is a plus.
