Seasonal/Temporary General Laborer - Utility position requirements include, but are not limited to, general plant labor and clean-up of production areas; maintenance, observation, monitoring and reporting any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; being trained in various entry-level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demands. Operating small equipment; replacing or assisting other workers as needed or directed; and other duties as assigned by management. Millwright experience and/or experienced equipment operators preferred, but not required.

You will be part of Carmeuse North America, a Rock-Star team of 2500 workers and employees bringing with them their own culture and specific needs. The North American headquarters is located in Pittsburgh, PA and has over three dozen production facilities across the U.S. and Canada.
Benefits & Compensation Package Includes:
- Starting pay of $23.04 per hour
Seasonal/Temporary General Laborer - Utility position requirements include, but are not limited to, general plant labor and clean-up of production areas; maintenance, observation, monitoring and reporting any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularity; being trained in various entry-level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demands. Operating small equipment; replacing or assisting other workers as needed or directed; and other duties as assigned by management. Responsibilities & Duties:
- General labor and clean-up of production areas.
- Observe, monitor and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity.
- Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, and company policies and guidelines.
- Replace or assist other works as needed or directed.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Willing and able to work overtime and rotating shifts
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions.
- Basic computer skills
- Perform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other potentially harsh working conditions.
