Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team in an industrial manufacturing environment. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for general plant/mine labor and clean up of production areas, observing and reporting any conditions that could lead to product nonconformity or other irregularities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform kiln outage work including refractory maintenance
- Off-load and handle coal
- Report equipment problems to management
- Complete equipment pre-shift reports
- Clean work areas and shovel stone from around conveyors
- Maintain bathroom facilities
- Operate small front-end loaders
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 5 years of experience in laborer roles in industrial manufacturing environments
- Able to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced production environment with exposure to moderate to loud noise levels and varied temperatures. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
