Job Description:

As a Bartender, you play a pivotal role in creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. Working in an upscale restaurant setting, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing knowledgeable beverage recommendations, and delivering outstanding service. You will work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure that guests receive impeccable service and have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Craft and serve a wide range of high-quality cocktails, wines, and other beverages in accordance with established recipes and standards.
2. Engage with guests to understand their preferences and provide expert recommendations on beverage selections.
3. Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including proper stocking of glassware, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
5. Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate food and beverage service and ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
6. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking drink orders promptly, and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
7. Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and performing regular stock checks.
8. Stay informed about current beverage trends, new products, and industry developments to continually enhance the bar program.
9. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to cash handling procedures.

Requirements:

1. 4 years experience working as a bartender in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment is preferred.
2. Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, wines, and spirits.
3. Strong customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
7. TIPS or similar certification for responsible alcohol service is preferred.
8. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
