Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in San Diego, CA. The Preschool Teacher will create and execute engaging lesson plans and activities tailored to the developmental needs of young children. Responsibilities include fostering a safe and nurturing environment, facilitating social and emotional growth, and promoting kindergarten readiness through a variety of hands-on learning experiences. Collaboration with colleagues, communication with parents, and ongoing professional development will also be integral aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development to create dynamic and educational experiences
- Expertise in Early Childhood Education and knowledge of child development principles
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment
- Teacher certification or qualification in early childhood education or a related field
- CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain them
- Passion for working with young children and fostering their growth and development
