What are the responsibilities and job description for the Post Market Barista/Attendant position at Carmel Country Club?
Our restaurants at Carmel offer our members multiple dining venues including indoor casual dining, indoor formal dining, outdoor casual dining and pub dining. This position may work in those areas of the Club, as well as Post Market.
*Preparing foods, such as sandwiches or baked goods, and grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to members
*Selling coffee and tea blends, highlighting the differences between items and educating members about brewing methods
*Cleaning and restocking work and dining areas, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
*Operating the Point-of-Sale system accurately and efficiently
*Requires a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
*Knowledge of and follows food safety and sanitation practices
*Prior barista experience is preferred
*Team members are required to work evenings, holidays and weekends on a consistent basis
