Job Title: SAP IBP/OMP Functional Lead
Location: Waukegan, IL (Onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Important:
• This resource will be involved in all Phase 0 planning for an implementation of SAP IBP and OMP solutions.
IT Functional/Technical Lead Planning– Demand, Supply & Finite Scheduling:
• Owns end-to-end delivery of planning solutions (Demand, Supply, Finite Scheduling) across client divisions.
• Execute transformation aligned to architecture standards while driving business outcomes, adoption, and value realization.
Phase 0/Strategy & Architecture:
• Support assessments of the current state across divisions, focusing on processes, systems, and data.
• Provide input on platform selection, fit-gap analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Assist in defining success metrics linked to business outcomes such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and service levels.
• Evaluate data readiness, integration complexity, and risks related to SAP and legacy systems.
• Establish the project scope, success metrics, and high-level architecture in alignment with the enterprise strategy.
• Identify potential risks, constraints, and dependencies between SAP and the legacy ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities – Architecture & Design:
• Design and implement Demand, Supply, and Finite Scheduling solutions that align with business goals.
• Execute planning implementations across different divisions, adapting to various business models and levels of maturity.
• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs.
• Oversee the activities of requirements gathering, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
• Collaborate with teams from supply chain, commercial, manufacturing, IT, and systems integrators to ensure end-to-end delivery.
• Manage the entire execution process, including configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Drive the implementation of harmonized planning solutions across divisions while accommodating specific business requirements and maturity levels.
• Ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) standards, as well as validation and regulatory requirements.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement and process standardization.
Data & Integration Architecture:
• Execute data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
• Ensure data readiness and quality across SAP and legacy systems.
• Assist with data migration, cleansing, validation, testing, and reconciliation activities
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, IT, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in planning systems (Demand, Supply, Scheduling).
• Experience with planning tools (Kinaxis, OMP, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of life sciences supply chain and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in integrating planning systems with SAP ERP.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in program delivery and data strategy execution.
• GxP validation experience preferred.
