Job Summary
We are seeking a mid-to-expert level Adobe Marketo Engage Specialist to own, scale, and optimize our marketing automation ecosystem, which should be future-proof our global marketing technology ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the technical owner of our Marketo instance, you will design and drive enterprise-level strategy, sophisticated multi-channel campaigns, architect lead-scoring models, and data governance, and complex system integrations. The ideal candidate is a data-driven problem solver who can translate marketing goals into scalable, automated solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture: Design, build and maintain a scalable global Marketo instance structure, including workspaces, partitions, and custom objects, and optimize complex smart campaigns, multi-touch nurture streams, and global operational workflows.
- Lead Lifecycle: Architect and refine lead scoring, routing, and data normalization models to improve sales alignment. Build and optimize advanced revenue cycle models (RCM), multi-product lead scoring, and automated velocity tracking
- Integrations: Lead/manage complex API integrations, troubleshoot the native Marketo-CRM sync (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) to ensure seamless data flow and governance,
- Advanced Analytics: Build multi-touch attribution models, custom reports, and advanced dashboards to prove marketing ROI and campaign performance.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Lead structural A/B testing strategies for emails, landing pages, and user journeys to maximize conversion rates.
- Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce instance governance, naming conventions, user permissions, and Monitor email deliverability, manage preference centers, and ensure global privacy compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Revenue Attribution: Architect advanced multi-touch attribution models to accurately measure and report marketing’s impact on pipeline and revenue.
- Team Leadership: Serve as the internal subject matter expert, mentoring junior specialists and advising executive leadership on marketing tech investments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 7 years of hands-on administration and architecture experience within Adobe Marketo Engage, ideally in a large B2B enterprise.
- Certification: Adobe Certified Professional or Expert (Marketo Engage Business Practitioner) is highly preferred, Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) or Adobe Certified Master (Marketo Engage Architect) credential are plus if any
- Technical Skills: Mastery of Webhooks, REST APIs, Velocity Scripting, HTML/CSS for email/landing page troubleshooting and experience using Velocity Scripting, and advanced data manipulation.
- Data & CRM Mastery: Deep knowledge of CRM data structures and schemas, data objects and lead-to-opportunity pipelines, data mapping, custom development, and data warehouse integrations (e.g., Snowflake).
- Strategic Vision: Proven track record of transforming messy marketing instances into highly efficient, revenue-driving machines
- Analytical Mindset: Expert-level skills in Excel, Google Analytics, or BI tools (like Power BI, Tableau) to analyze raw marketing data.
