What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Laborer position at Carlwittco Inc.?
The worker will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for turkeys from the day of hatch until they are ready for market. This includes daily monitoring of bird health and behavior, ensuring proper feeding and watering, and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Additional responsibilities include checking turkeys daily to monitor health, growth, and welfare. The worker will be required to
operate farm equipment such as skid steers and tractors for general farm operations. They will unload feed deliveries from semi-trucks and mix water additives as required to maintain flock health. The worker must be able to perform general maintenance and basic repairs using hand tools when equipment or facilities break down.
Employees will be provided time for lunch and breaks during the workday.
Experience/Special Skill Requirements: No education requirement. Three (3)
