Overview: Evening Shift
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide exceptional care to Residents with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient well-being, demonstrate excellent caregiving skills, and have experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory and hospice care. Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and document patient observations, vital signs, and medical conditions .
- Support residents with specialized care needs such as Alzheimer's disease, dementia, hospice, or end-of-life care through compassionate engagement and tailored interventions.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and ensuring a safe living environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote patient comfort and independence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Home Health Aide, PCA, CNA, or in a similar caregiving role within long-term care settings.
- Experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks required for caregiving duties.
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards such as HIPAA.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with patience, empathy, and professionalism when engaging with clients and their families.
- Certification as a HHA,PCA ,CNA or equivalent credential is preferred; relevant training in hospice or memory care is advantageous.
