What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Internship position at CarlsonSV LLP?
CarlsonSV is currently seeking students who want to learn and develop their business/individual tax and accounting skills. We have an excellent internship program where you will assist our experienced and talented tax team with preparing tax returns, conducting research and organizing financial documents to support the tax team with compliance and reporting. Our forward-thinking and flexible culture will allow you to learn and grow in your career.
Please note that Tax Internships are full-time positions and will run from approximately January – April.

The internship position will be in office and can be located in any of our following office locations:
Amery or Osceola, WI
New Ulm or Minneapolis (Plymouth), MN
You are the right fit if:
You are working towards a bachelor's degree in accounting and interested in seeking CPA certification upon graduation
You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Prior to start, you will have completed the basic income tax coursework
You proactively demonstrate a willingness to learn and attain greater knowledge
You are analytical and can logically work through challenges when given the tools to succeed
