This position will be officed in New Ulm, Minnesota

What type of work would you do:
- Plan and help facilitate engagements to meet budget and client expectations
- Evaluate clients’ internal controls and determine the extent of testing required in an audit
- Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements
- Provide exceptional service to clients by providing individual attention, responsiveness and commitment to understanding their goals and needs
- Audit complex areas and transactions and prepare client deliverable reports
- Exhibit solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality management standards and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignments
- Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities to managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process
- Demonstrate technical skills, general industry knowledge and knowledge of the firm’s capabilities
- Maintain and comply with the highest degree of professional standards, client confidentiality and personal conduct
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with client’s staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships
- Perform compilation, review, and audit engagements
- Review and prepare client work papers, reports, financial statement drafts and letters of recommendations
You are the right fit if you have the following:
- BA/BS in Accounting or Related Field
- 2 years of similar experience in a CPA firm
- CPA license or in process to obtain
- You have experience with accounting software systems (e.g. QuickBooks, Thomson Reuters products) and are proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of organization, focus, and exceptional attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand or sit for extended periods of time, as well as type/enter data at a keyboard regularly
