What You’ll Do
- Meet with families and guide them through funeral, cremation, and memorial arrangements
- Coordinate and direct services with professionalism, care, and attention to detail
- Ensure each service reflects the life being honored
- Handle documentation and compliance with accuracy and integrity
- Support daily operations and collaborate with your team
(If dual-licensed, embalming and preparation duties are included.)
What We’re Looking For
- Licensed Funeral Director (or Funeral Director/Embalmer) in Ohio, or eligible for reciprocity
- Strong communication skills and ability to guide families with empathy and clarity
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple responsibilities
- Someone who takes pride in their work and the profession
The Reality of the Role
- On-call rotation and weekend availability required
- This is meaningful work—but it can be demanding
- Emotional resilience and professionalism are essential
