Marketing Coordinator

Carlson Dash, LLC
Pleasant, WI Full Time
POSTED ON 6/10/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/5/2026

Carlson Dash is a multi-state business law firm serving corporations, nonprofits, and industry boards across Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Colorado. Our practice runs the full spectrum of business law – guiding clients through corporate formation and mergers, navigating litigation and creditors' rights, closing real estate and financial transactions, advising on labor and employment matters, and planning for the future through estate and construction law. For those who want embedded, ongoing legal partnership, we also serve as fractional general counsel. Whatever the challenge, we show up as a trusted partner – in the boardroom, in the courtroom, and everywhere in between.

Our work also extends into some of the most complex corners of business law – banking and finance, commercial litigation, Chapter 11 restructuring, distressed transactions, receiverships, and asset recovery – where the stakes are high and the margin for error is narrow.

We built this firm on a simple idea: practicing law should be personal, passionate, and forward-thinking. We are not a legacy firm coasting on reputation – we are builders, and we are looking for someone who understands that a strong brand is built steadily, deliberately, and with the long game in mind.

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to complement and strengthen our existing marketing efforts as we continue to grow our presence across the markets we serve. This is a hands-on, relationship-oriented role for someone who understands that professional brand-building is a marathon, not a sprint.

You will work alongside our attorneys and internal team to develop and execute a consistent, professional marketing program – one grounded in trust, credibility, and community. This is a role for someone who thrives in a deliberate, relationship-driven environment – where the measure of success is credibility built over time, not content produced per week. If that sounds like the kind of work you find meaningful, we think you'll fit right in.

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Develop and manage a social media content calendar across LinkedIn and other appropriate platforms – planned, purposeful, and consistent
  • Create professional, on-brand content including written copy, graphics, and occasional short-form video that reflects the firm’s voice and expertise
  • Execute digital campaigns aligned with firm goals including brand awareness, client education, and thought leadership
  • Monitor performance analytics and provide regular reporting, using insights to refine approach over time
  • Stay informed on platform changes and legal marketing best practices

Offline Marketing & Community Presence

  • Support the planning and promotion of firm events, sponsorships, and networking opportunities that deepen our presence in the Kenosha-Milwaukee-Chicago corridor
  • Develop and coordinate print collateral, direct mail, event materials, and other branded assets – managing outside vendors when needed
  • Represent the firm at professional events, bar association functions, and community engagements with polish and confidence
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with local organizations, referral sources, and professional associations that align with firm growth

Internal Collaboration & Program Support

  • Partner with attorneys and staff to surface content ideas, highlight firm culture, and tell the Carlson Dash story across all channels
  • Support email newsletters, website updates, and client communications

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Background

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related role – with demonstrated exposure to both digital and traditional marketing channels
  • Track record of planning and executing campaigns that build brand identity and credibility over time
  • Experience coordinating events, community outreach, networking initiatives, or sponsorship activations
  • Background in legal, professional services, or B2B marketing is a plus – but a genuine appreciation for relationship-driven, professional environments matters more

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong writing and communications skills – you can adapt tone and voice for a professional audience across digital content, print materials, and client-facing copy
  • Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling/analytics tools
  • Graphic design skills sufficient to produce clean, polished marketing materials (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
  • Ability to coordinate print and collateral production, including vendor management when needed

Professional Qualities

  • You take a long-term view of brand and reputation, understanding that in a professional services environment, credibility is earned gradually, guarded carefully, and built through steady, reliable presence
  • Polished, personable presence with confidence representing the firm in professional and community settings
  • Strong relationship-building instincts with an understanding of how referrals and reputation drive growth in a legal environment
  • Organized self-starter who can manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal oversight
  • Comfortable in a client-facing environment where discretion and confidentiality are non-negotiable

Our Culture

We look for people who are team-oriented and able to move things forward both independently and within a group. We believe giving our clients the best value means striving to get them the best advice and service when they need it.

We want to surround ourselves with people who are engaged, honest, and confident – people who show up consistently, take ownership of their work, and are invested in building something they are proud of. We take seriously our responsibility to support your growth as a member of the firm and the broader legal community.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $48,000–$58,000 annually, commensurate with experience
  • Annual performance bonus based on individual performance reviews
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, among others
  • 401(k)
  • Paid time off
  • Hybrid Schedule; role is based in our Pleasant Prairie office, with the opportunity for limited remote flexibility.

How to Apply

If you are a disciplined, professional marketer who takes pride in building brands with consistency, integrity, and a long-term mindset, we would like to hear from you.

Please submit your resume in PDF format along with 2–3 samples of marketing work that reflect your range across both digital and traditional channels. Work samples might include social media campaigns, print collateral, event materials, or written content – we are less interested in production value and more interested in strategic thinking and professional judgment.

We thank all interested applicants; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
