Leasing Consultant

Seeking an energetic and outgoing Leasing Consultant to join our team at Sedgefield Apartments in Winston-Salem, NC! This position is part-time offering 20-29 hours per week.

Qualified Leasing Professionals will have at least one year of property management experience.

Summary of Position:

• Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for all residents, prospects and visitors to the community.
• Showing apartments and amenities to future residents by appointment or walk ins.
• Assisting residents, answering the telephone, and responding to emails.
• Completing all leasing paperwork and ensuring resident file is complete.
• Compiling and processing applications.
• Explaining lease agreements and all appropriate addenda to new residents.
• Follow up on leasing traffic entries and monitoring traffic trends and market surveys.
• Ensure Fair Housing Standards in all matters when working with prospects and residents.
• Assist with marketing activities within the community and local market.
• Plan and coordinate resident events.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years' experience in apartment leasing role preferred, or equivalent customer service and sales experience

This position requires some weekends and holiday scheduling.
