GRAPHIC DESIGNER / PREPRESS SPECIALIST
Digital Printing – EFI Nozomi 14000
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Prepress Specialist to join our digital printing team. This position combines graphic design, prepress production, customer artwork review, and print quality control for our EFI Nozomi 14000 digital printer.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of graphic design and wants the opportunity to grow into a leadership role overseeing our Prepress/Graphics area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review customer artwork for print readiness, accuracy, resolution, color, fonts, bleeds, dimensions, and other production requirements.
- Prepare, modify, and optimize artwork for production on our EFI Nozomi 14000.
- Create or modify graphics and packaging artwork when customers need design assistance.
- Communicate artwork issues and requirements with customers, Sales, Customer Service, and Production.
- Review first-off printed pieces for color, positioning, image quality, and overall appearance before full production.
- Work with press operators to troubleshoot artwork, color, and print-quality issues.
- Maintain organized production files, artwork revisions, and approvals.
- Help develop and improve prepress procedures, quality standards, and workflow.
- Become an internal expert on our digital print capabilities and help customers maximize the benefits of digital printing.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in graphic design, prepress, graphic communications, or commercial printing.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat.
- Knowledge of print-ready file preparation, color, image resolution, typography, bleeds, and file formats.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience with digital printing, corrugated packaging, color management, RIP workflows, or EFI Nozomi equipment is a plus but not required.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
