Production Cook

This Position is for our WEST CHESTER location @128 W. Market St. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Production Cook to join our culinary team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items in a retail environment, ensuring every dish meets our standards for taste, presentation, and safety. Your expertise in food preparation, recipe execution, and food safety procedures will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, including techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food production for large-scale service.
• Follow detailed recipes and menu specifications to ensure consistency and quality across all dishes.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improving existing recipes based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients.
• Handle food with care, demonstrating excellent knife skills and proper food handling techniques during preparation and cooking.
• Support high-volume production needs by efficiently managing multiple orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations, including meal preparation, plating, and serving during busy hours.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment, adhering to all food safety management protocols.
• Participate in catering events or special functions as needed, providing exceptional service from setup through cleanup.

Experience

• Strong background in food industry environments such as restaurants or catering services.
• Demonstrated proficiency in food preparation techniques including poaching, braising, grilling, and general cooking methods.
• Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations is essential.
• Experience working in high-volume production kitchens or catering environments that require efficient meal preparation under tight deadlines.
• Excellent knife skills combined with knowledge of culinary techniques to produce visually appealing dishes.
• Prior experience in menu planning and food service operations that emphasize quality and consistency.
