Overview:
The Carlile Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Designer to join our team full-time. Our firm provides comprehensive architectural services—including design, documentation, and construction administration—across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, retail, office, civic, education, healthcare, religious, light industrial, and residential.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience while working toward professional licensure.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary: Anticipated salary is approximately $45,000–$55,000 (paid hourly)
Benefits: Package includes health, dental, and vision insurance; 401 (k) with employer contribution; performance bonus; and paid vacation/personal time
Responsibilities
- Assist in architectural design, drafting, and preparation of construction documents
- Develop project specifications and support construction cost analysis
- Prepare detailed construction documentation with minimal supervision
- Contribute to project scheduling and coordination efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams and consultants
- Interact professionally with clients and stakeholders
- Support the firm’s commitment to delivering high-quality design services
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field, or completion of a 5-year professional architecture program
- Enrollment in the NCARB Architectural Experience Program (AXP), with intent to pursue licensure
