- Collect windshield samples and cut them to produce standardized test specimens.
- Prepare and execute body glass fragmentation tests.
- Perform analysis across distortion, moisture, pummel, light transmission, boil, ball drop, and opacity for all windshield parts.
- Conduct robustness testing when required.
- Test the water softener system for each windshield line.
- Complete follow-up testing on non-compliant product.
- Carry out additional testing for European and Asian market parts.
- 1 year of hands-on laboratory testing experience; glass industry exposure preferred.
- Proven knowledge of ANSI standards and familiarity with European and Asian market standards.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Comfort interpreting and executing test specifications; understanding of tempered glass and windshield standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain test logs/results/data and craft reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Works well with minimal supervision; capable of surfacing key trends from data.

- Alternative work schedule including 12-hour shifts.
- May require more than 40 hours per week, including some weekends and holidays, based on projects and workload.
