KEY TASKS
- Understand and follow work instructions and control plans.
- Communicate with other operators to assure a steady product flow.
- Operate multiple machines along with other key tasks such as changeovers
- Perform regular checks such as part quality, gaging, sag mapping, xenon light distortion check, etc.
- Perform production reporting through GMAPS.
- Maintain an organized clean work environment. 5S
- Perform other departmental job duties when directed by supervision
- Perform required PPE, location and purpose of all lock outs and E-stops
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment keeping the process running
- Handle all types of glass safely

REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years' operator experience.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to learn and follow procedures while working safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Work a 12-hour shift on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule and work overtime as needed.
- Able to lift 45-50 lbs regularly and/or occasionally able to walk 5-10 feet while carrying a 45-50 lb. windshield.
- Able to raise objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position.
- Repetitive movements of wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Repetitive twisting and bending of upper & lower body.
- Work in extreme heat and humidity.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
- Cooperate within teams to carry out tasks and responsibilities.
- Overtime may be required as workload or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays.
- Able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time.
- Some type of computer knowledge.
Pay: $18.03 - $26.54 per hour
