- Engineering of assigned area of glass fabrication
- Manage process related tooling in preparation for each
- Trouble-shoot line operations
- Issue and revise drawing and process sheets as a result of
- Develop and implement continuous improvement in capability
- Verify conformance of components to customer specifications
- Analyse weekly production results, identify deficiencies and
- Work with operators to reduce defects, increase throughput
- Train operators how to safely and effectively operate plant
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (, Mechanical,
degree
- Six Sigma certified is preferred
- 3 years’ in a Manufacturing Environment preferred
- PLC experience preferred
- Fluent in use of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with manufacturing equipment or assembly
- Solid understanding of Six Sigma, SPC, 5 Why, Pareto
- Proven understanding of tools, quality of product and
- Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be
weekends and holidays
