Whether you're an experienced technician or an automotive mechanic ready to transition into heavy equipment, we offer paid training to support your success.Technicians are the backbone of our organization; therefore, we provide them with the tools, training, and support needed to thrive.What We Offer:Competitive base pay: $20 to $42 per hour (based on location, skillset, experience, and education; does not include benefits or bonus potential)Paid time off and paid holidaysOutstanding benefits package, including:100% employer-paid Medical Insurance, Dental and Vision coverage available401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matchCompany-provided uniformsOngoing paid training and professional developmentOpportunities for growth and advancement within a stable, well-respected companyPrimary Responsibilities and DutiesPerform complete inspections of equipment and machineryRemove, install, and replace parts and componentsImplement optional accessories and aftermarket kitsConduct routine and scheduled maintenanceDiagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment malfunctionsExecute general and advanced repairs professionally and efficientlyConduct welding and fabrication tasks as neededTest equipment functionality post-repair or installationSafely operate and maneuver a variety of heavy and light equipmentInstall attachments, kits, and modifications per customer needsUtilize computer programs for diagnostics, service records, and reportingDocument all maintenance and repair activities with accuracyAccurately complete and submit required service documentation and paperworkDeliver exceptional customer service and foster strong customer relationshipsMaintain consistent, regular, and reliable attendance; arrive prepared and on timePerform other duties as assignedTechnician Qualifications and SkillsAt our company, we actively encourage Technicians to participate in our in-house training program, designed to enhance their skills in diagnostics and troubleshooting while supporting long-term career growth in the heavy equipment industry.Preferred Experience and Requirements for high level technicians:Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in heavy equipment or Field Service repair preferredStrong mechanical aptitude with a comprehensive understanding of:EnginesPowertrain systemsHydraulic systemsElectrical systemsProven experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenanceWelding and fabrication proficiencyAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCommitment to high-quality workmanship and workplace safetyMust possess a complete set of professional toolsFamiliarity with computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook Language and Communication Skills:Intermediate language proficiency requiredAble to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, schematics, and procedural manualsCapable of writing routine service reports and correspondenceComfortable speaking effectively with customers and coworkers in group settingsMathematical Skills:Basic math skills, including the ability to:Add and subtract two-digit numbersMultiply and divide using tens and hundredsWork with standard units of American currency, weight, volume, and distanceReasoning and Problem-Solving Abilities:Intermediate reasoning skillsAbility to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructionsSkilled in applying practical judgment to solve problems in standardized, real-world service scenariosPhysical Demands/Work Environment:Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands; Frequently will talk/hear; Occasionally will sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift 11 to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift from 26 to 100 plus poundsWork Environment: Regularly will work near moving mechanical parts; Frequently will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions; Occasionally will work in wet or humid conditions (non-weather), extreme cold and heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, vibrationBe part of a team where your expertise is valued and your career is supported.
