Carle Health is seeking a Bariatric Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.
Opportunity Details:Position Details Include:
- Join a growing Bariatric Surgery team with a BC Bariatric/General Surgeon and dedicated support staff
- Blend of clinic and hospital responsibilities
- No call or weekend responsibilities
- Schedule will be Mon – Fri from 8 AM – 4:30 PM.
- The Bariatric Surgery APP will be responsible for the delivery of care to bariatric candidates and patients as well as pre/post-operative assessment and responsibilities
- Be a part of patient treatment planning, counseling, and monthly office visits to review progress.
- In-office procedures include wound assessment and lap band fills
- Bariatric Program Coordinator, in collaboration with and under supervision of the Program Medical Director.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing with Acute Care specialty (ACNP) or Physician Assistant
- At least 1 year of APP experience required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure /physician assistant licensure

Provider Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
