Job Description
Job Title: Senior Quality InspectorReports To: Quality SupervisorFLSA Status: Non-ExemptDepartment: QualityDivision: N/A
Summary: To inspect products/components in accordance with established standards by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Perform In-Process and Final Inspection - visual and dimensional inspection of manufactured parts, assemblies, or sub-assemblies within a manufacturing environment and records results to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
2. Perform incoming inspection – visual and dimensional inspection of purchased raw materials and records results to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
3. Performs product testing such as proof load, burst strength etc.
4. Meets the expected timeliness that are outlined on the production orders.
5. Perform First Article Inspections including documentation as per AS9102 requirements
6. Prepare Certificates of Analysis for customer shipments – Both Hard Copies andElectronic, (On-Line)
7. Able to understand manufacturing routings and drawings
8. Notifies management of equipment malfunctions.
9. Documents product discrepancies.
10. Adheres to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
11. Completes training requirements as specified in the company training matrix.
12. Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
13. Performs other related duties as assigned.
