About the Role
The Technology Manager will oversee the company’s technology function, spanning development, infrastructure, and support, while leading the implementation and ongoing management of the ERP system. This position plays a crucial role in aligning technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring system reliability, and fostering cross-departmental collaboration to support operational success. The ideal candidate is an experienced technical leader with strong ERP expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage both people and complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary technology team overseeing software development, infrastructure, and technical support functions
- Provide mentorship, direction, and performance feedback to promote growth, accountability, and collaboration
- Serve as the primary owner of the company’s ERP system (Epicor), leading its implementation, optimization, and continued alignment with business processes
- Maintain documentation, workflows, and training programs related to ERP processes and integrations
- Partner with software and quality assurance engineers to plan and execute software initiatives that enhance business systems and customer-facing tools
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that support company efficiency, automation, and visibility
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Experience leadership to ensure technology solutions support strategic priorities and operational goals
- Translate technical concepts and needs into actionable business recommendations and plans
- Drive process improvement across systems and workflows, leveraging data and user feedback to enhance functionality and efficiency
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and proactive problem-solving within the technology team
- Contribute to additional initiatives and responsibilities as needed to support team success and evolving business needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7 years of progressive experience in IT, software, or technology management rolesProven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams
- Demonstrated success implementing and managing ERP systems (Epicor experience strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of systems architecture, networking, database management, and cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with programming and integration concepts (C , Python, APIs, SQL)
- Experience with software development and QA practices within an Agile framework
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
- Ability to balance hands-on technical engagement with strategic planning and execution
