About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Production Associate to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. As a Shipping Associate, you will be responsible for picking, packing, and shipping orders in a fast-paced environment while meeting daily shipping goals and maintaining a high level of accuracy. This role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and willing to work overtime when demand requires it. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Picks, packs, and ships daily orders via UPS, FedEx, USPS
- Verifies correct product and quantities are being shipped
- Follows proper packaging procedures
- Ships packages through our shipping software
- Determines the correct carrier to use
- Prepares freight shipments
- Schedules freight pick-ups
- Moving bulk materials by hand or with a pallet jack
- Stocks shipping supplies daily
- Maintains a clean and organized area
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic computer literacy along with strong reading, writing, and math skills
- Physically capable of lifting 60 pounds multiple times per day and operating a manual pallet jack
- Able to read a tape measure and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
- Communicates clearly with team members and leadership, maintains a positive attitude, and adapts well to changing priorities
- Familiarity with Shipworks and scanning software preferred
- Familiarity with Google Sheets preferred
- UPS, FedEx, LTL, and USPS scheduling and processing experience a plus
