Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Automotive Repair Mechanic / Automotive Service Technician to join our team. This entry-level role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in automotive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while working with a variety of vehicle makes and models. Prior experience is helpful, with a passion for cars and a desire to grow your career in the automotive industry!
Duties
- Assist with routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs under the supervision of experienced technicians
- Learn to perform diagnostics of automotive electrical systems, using schematics, and diagnostic tools
- Support in repairing powertrain components, engines, and performing tire changes
- Help with vehicle body repairs, welding, and basic auto body work as needed
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations
- Assist with vehicle detailing and cleaning to prepare for sale
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Gain exposure to advanced systems like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and vehicle electrical components
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an interest in automotive repair and maintenance
- Basic familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair procedures
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients
- Willingness to learn diagnostic techniques, schematics reading, and system troubleshooting
- Prior dealership experience or familiarity with vehicle maintenance is a plus but not required
- Ability to follow directions carefully while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning in automotive technology
