Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive in-home care tailored to each client’s needs, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and medication management
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation to appointments or errands
- Maintain a safe and clean environment to prevent falls or injuries
- Foster positive relationships through empathetic communication and respectful engagement
- Follow care plans meticulously while adapting to evolving client requirements
- Document care activities accurately and maintain detailed records of services provided
Qualifications
- Prior experience in caregiving or home health services is highly valued, especially with clients requiring Level II trauma center experience or hospital medicine background
- Knowledge of emergency medicine procedures and familiarity with Level I Trauma Center protocols is advantageous
- Experience working with diverse populations including Geriatrics, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or post-acute care settings enhances your suitability
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
- Ability to handle emergency situations confidently and efficiently, demonstrating proficiency in OR (Operating Room) experience or outpatient clinic settings if applicable
- Valid certification in CPR/First Aid; additional healthcare certifications are a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
