Grabb Motors is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our busy, family-owned repair shop. We have a strong customer base, a full schedule, and are looking for a technician with 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
We're looking for someone who can confidently diagnose and repair a wide variety of vehicles, including major engine repairs and transmission removal, replacement, and repair.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections
- Complete brake, steering, suspension, engine, electrical, and drivability repairs
- Remove and replace transmissions and perform transmission repairs as needed
- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional automotive repair experience required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience performing engine and transmission repairs
- Must have your own tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
