Carl Bolander & Sons is seeking a FT Staff Accountant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for full-cycle project accounting functions, including billing management, accounts receivable, job-cost tracking, and work-in-progress reporting. Ensures the accurate allocation of costs to designated projects and delivers timely financial data in support of project management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare owner contract billings, Time & Material invoices, and project cost reports while collaborating directly with clients to ensure prompt and accurate collections
- Oversee subcontract billing coordination, job-cost tracking, and work-in-progress reporting, while maintaining comprehensive project documentation from inception through closeout
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2–5 years of progressive financial experience; construction industry background strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP as it applies to job-cost and project accounting, with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software
