Devops Engineer - W2 contract - Hybrid at Phoenix, AZ

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team on a 12-month W2 contract. This role is fully onsite and requires strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), ArgoCD, Terraform, monitoring/backup systems, and multi-cloud operational environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing infrastructure at scale, implementing CI/CD workflows, and ensuring secure, reliable operations through robust ACL management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute EKS upgrade activities, ensuring zero/minimal downtime and compatibility with existing application workloads.

• Implement and manage ArgoCD-based GitOps pipelines, including repository structure, application deployments, and environment synchronization.

• Oversee and optimize monitoring, logging, and alerting systems across AWS and multi-cloud environments.

• Manage backup and disaster recovery strategies, including automated backup schedules, restoration testing, and failover planning.

• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC modules for provisioning, configuring, and scaling cloud infrastructure.

• Support multi-cloud operations across AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform, ensuring consistency, security, and compliance.

• Implement and maintain ACLs, RBAC policies, and security controls for clusters, cloud resources, and deployment pipelines.

• Collaborate with development, security, and platform engineering teams to streamline CI/CD workflows and environment provisioning.

• Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize performance across infrastructure layers.

• Maintain documentation, runbooks, design diagrams, and operational standards for cloud and platform infrastructure.
