Occupancy & Compliance Assistant (1 year of experience required)
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Under the direction of the Occupancy Compliance Manager, you will support leasing activities and provide customer service to residents and applicants. The ideal candidate relates well to people, exercises good judgment, and maintains professionalism when interacting with residents, vendors, and co-workers. Knowledge of HUD and Tax Credit programs is preferred; however, we are willing to train a candidate who has strong administrative experience, is good with numbers, and is detail-oriented. Strong logic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential.
QUALIFICATIONS
For Assistant (support role - $23.00 to $24.00):
- 1 year of affordable housing or related administrative experience required
- Exposure to affordable housing programs such as HUD, Tax Credit, BMR, or Section 8 preferred
- Strong attention to detail, data entry, and documentation
- Ability to prepare clear written reports
- Ability to work well with diverse populations
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
