Carissa's the Bakery is a multi-location bakery and cafe rooted in the East End of Long Island. We bake from scratch, work with local farms, and take details seriously. Our food has a clear point of view and we're looking for someone to help us execute it exceptionally.

The role
If you get satisfaction from a perfectly labeled walk-in, a tight prep list, and a smooth expo, this is your kitchen. This is an execution role. We need a partner to help deliver our vision cleanly, consistently, and at scale across our 3 locations. You will steer the BOH: systems, organization, staffing, prep, and service.
What you'll take ownership of
Oversee daily BOH operations across locations.
Continue to build upon and maintain established systems for prep, storage, ordering, and scheduling.
Run a calm and precise expo. Train and develop kitchen staff to our standards.
Maintain an organized, respected walk-in and dry storage.
Uphold and refine our existing menu, not reinvent it.
Partner with ownership on quality, consistency, and refinement.
