Role Overview
The position provides technical assistance, support and training to users of systems related to the Department of Children and Families/Managing Entities (ME) Line of Business. Additionally, performing database development using Microsoft SQL Server and report writing using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or similar. The position is expected to have at least 5 years of experience in Object oriented application development and database architecture/design. Understanding the Department of Children and Families data sets in a plus.
Role Responsibilities
- Write code, SQL and design reports as per the specifications provided by the business unit and the Lead Architect
- Test code and applications developed by other development team members to ensure proper functionality as per business requirements.
- Assist senior management in making design and architectural decisions for business systems. Participate in relevant meetings as requested.
- Work on special projects assigned by senior IT Management.
- Assist in the monthly submission of data to DCF.
- Provides support in data reconciliation tasks.
- Responsible for testing new features and/or updates in Carisk’s systems.
- Generates and distributes monthly reports to clients and providers.
Role Qualifications
- High School Diploma / BS degree
- Undergraduate degree program in Computer Science, Application Development or Business Technology
- Knowledge DCF PAM 155-2 data requirements.
- Desire to work hard and learn while being mentored by a senior architect and business leadership.
- Ability to think quickly and change courses based on business needs.
- Experience with Windows, MS Office, IT Ticketing Systems.
- Problem solver and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.

The pay range for this role is:
55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Tampa Office)
55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Miami HQ Office)
55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Jacksonville Office)
55,000 - 65,000 USD per year(Remote (Florida, US))
