What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Caris Pharmacy?

Our technicians duties include but are not limited to accurately processing and labeling prescriptions; ensuring accuracy of prescription contents; identify system flags to alert pharmacists of drug interactions; receive prescriptions from customers; request and receive prescriptions and authorizations via phone; accurately maintain all files pertaining to the pharmacy; and accurately and completely collect and enter all customer demographic and prescription information including third party insurance. Pharmacy Technicians also work towards building, promoting, and delivering a high degree of customer satisfaction and work with the pharmacy team to serve patients quickly and accurately.
Pharmacy hours are Monday-Friday 9:00-7:00 and Saturday 9:00-2:00. Must have availability for all days/times.
Must be nationally certified
Employees must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
