What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA/Caregiver position at CaringLegends?
At CaringLegends, we are committed to providing compassionate, high-quality in-home care to seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans. We are currently seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Caregivers who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the care team
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment
- Follow individualized care plans tailored to each client
- Provide medication reminders (as permitted)
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with supervisors and family members
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (preferred but not required for caregiver roles)
- Minimum 1 year of caregiving or healthcare experience (preferred)
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (preferred)
- Ability to pass background check and meet state requirements
- CPR/First Aid certification (a plus)
